’02 Marina Piper Pinot Noir

By Aaron at 3:40 pm on Monday, September 11, 2006

This wine has a dark saturated black garnet color, black fruit, cassis, hints of licorice and tobacco, fine grained tannins and a big, long, rustic finish. It is intriguing and satisfying. The wine was aged 11 months in French and Oregon oak barrels, 20% new. It was then aged 18 months in bottle before release.

5% Cottonwood Vineyard; 38% Durant Vineyard; 57% Winter’s Hill Vineyard
383 cases produced.

This wine is sold out, please try the beautiful 2005.
