By noah at 3:40 pm on Monday, September 11, 2006

Dark saturated color, nose with hints of wild strawberry, rose and violets, viscous, rich mouth feel, layers of black fruit, cassis and a big dark finish. Big, for people who like big Pinots. It is very age-worthy. The wine was aged 17 months in all French oak, 20% new. It was then aged 18 months in bottle before release.
